Cobweb has always had a love of Marmite... we even list "free Marmite and toast" as an employee benefit in our Best Places to Work entries. there's a new Marmite ad featuring Paddington Bear
This made me sigh more than laugh... http://www.sysadminoftheyear.com/
It's a great idea to recognise hard working, dedicated & highly skilled admins, as they can work long hours (in the darK) and do tend to just get the grief from the sharp end of the job, i.e. when things go wrong!
But this competition is limited to US/Canada only, probably something to do with the sponsors and prizes available i'd think. I'd happily get a UK/EMEA version of this going but it will need vendor/sponsor support.
Anyway, what really made me laugh was the "rock star" photo on the front page! talk about a stereo-typical sysadmin picture!
