An overview of the voice industry for partners and how it’s moving on - SipCom

Oliver Compton, Senior VP from SipCom has just begun his keynote, he is going to be presenting to the delegates a high level view of the voice industry and their view of how partnering within that industry will become critical to maintaining a competitive edge.

Within his presentation he has some great examples of just how big the Cloud market has become:

• CRN predicts that small business spending on Cloud Computing will hit $100 billion by 2014
• IDC estimates the market for public cloud products and services at $16 billion in 2010, growing to $56B by 2014
• Gartner estimates the Cloud market at $150 billion by 2013 while Merrill Lynch has it at 160 billion by 2011
• A recent survey of 500 IT decision-makers by Sand Hill found that 50% of respondents cited business agility as their primary reason for adopting cloud applications

Creative Cloud Delivery – The Cobweb Cloud for Partners

This afternoon, Mark Davies, Head of Partner services at Cobweb, is going to be taking the audience through the various different options for partners and how they can use the Cobweb Cloud to their advantage.

Within his presentation he gives three great examples of why a reseller should consider engaging Cobweb:

• Bundling - Multiple bundles created to appeal to different range of businesses
• Margin - Provide a range of support services or setup services that suit your customer base
• No Profit - Hosted Services are provided at cost price to their customers to support their own core product

Customer Case Study - A Day in the Life of All3Media

 
Our last presentation of the morning is Damien Frost, IT Director, All3Media. As a fast growing international company, ALL3MEDIA relies heavily on electronic communications to stay in synch across its operations. With much of the company growth coming through acquisition ALL3MEDIA needed a messaging and communication system that was able to be quickly delivered to new companies as they were purchased.

Damien is explaining his experience as an Enterprise Cobweb customer, and the benefits for him and his business by deploying their communications services through the Cobweb cloud. All3Media have been users of Cobweb Hosted Exchange since 2003.
