Silicon Cup 2009

Cobweb entered a boat in the 2009 Silicon Cup, a charity sailing event for IT companies in the Solent. It was impossible not to take part this year given that the Solent is on our doorstep (and a playground for many)

We did ok - third in our class of 14 boats and we ended up collecting a trophy. This isn't a bad show given that we had a mix of sailing part-timers and first-timers!
We'll be back next year to take on the big Microsoft boats in class-1

Thanks to our friends at Attenda, Microsoft and Equinix for the event sponsorship. Over £50,000 was raised for children's sailing charities.
