On the Office Sustained Engineering blog there are details of SP2 for Office 2007 which is released 28-April
SP2 contains numerous bug fixes, performance improvements and the inclusion of advanced features which have been considered add-ons until now. Some highlights I've noticed;
Outlook - Performance in startup, shutdown, view rendering, and folder switch has been improved (which is probably the patch that's already released) and Calendar updates, search, and RSS are more reliable.
InfoPath - Increased compatibility between InfoPath forms and other Microsoft products, such as Outlook. Good news if you're using InfoPath to help automate your business processes and implementing simple workflow via Outlook
OneNote - SharePoint synchronization has been improved, produces fewer errors
Windows SharePoint Services - includes improved Firefox compatibility, which helps the current version of SharePoint move toward the 2010 wave in which both Safari and Firefox will be better served
When you install it, let me know how you get on please! Comments are welcome here or find me on Twitter.
