Well, there’s a few of the male comments so far, so let’s go for a female one to get us started…
I’m Sarah and I work in the Marketing Department for Cobweb, I know what you’re thinking already but I can promise you this isn’t an advertising area for me or the team! It’s a chance for you to learn more about our department and how we aim to help you, oh and more about what we do on a daily basis if you’re interested. Trust me, we’re not like sales, we know when’s appropriate and when to stop!!
These days every company seems to have a marketing department, whether it’s the managing director, duty manager, or individual marketers – we all have views which will help the strategic direction of any company, or if not, at least help to add some humour into every day lives – well some of the marketing workshops I’ve been in do!!
I have worked for Cobweb since November 2006 and have been in Marketing since 2000, during this time of which I was studying for my Marketing Degree at Bournemouth University which I thoroughly enjoyed, both socially and academically. In my spare time I love to water-ski, go mountain biking, play netball and visit every female’s second home – hitting the shops.
Well that’s enough about me, my blogging will aim to discuss current thoughts and actions around marketing, what’s hot or not and how we can do it better, but I’d also love to hear more about what you’re doing and how it’s working for you – you never know I may pinch a few ideas (if you don’t mind J) or at least build on them!
If however you are keen to know more about Cobweb specifically or want us to do something differently, drop me an email and we can have a chat about it. I’d love to hear from you. Email Sarah – let’s talk Marketing...
It's very astute of Cobweb to run its websites on the best web content management systems in Europe www.mediasurface.com . None of this Microsoft rubbish ;)
Seriously though - your websites are looking great and a shining example of SEO/PPC conversion best practices. Also great to see you reaching out to customers via blogs and knowledge bases.
